History
Harbor Home Design Inc. began in 1988 as the home-based business of Charles S. Bucher. The company, which was incorporated in 2001, has been working in Gig Harbor over 36 years.

Charles has over 36 years of experience in architectural design and drafting. He graduated from Gig Harbor High School and the Building Design Technology program at Clover Park Technical College. Immediately following his graduation, he was sub-contracted to design assisted living facilities and single family homes by various firms.

Community
Charles is active in community affairs. He is a founding member of the Finholm Marketplace Association, which works to increase tourism and shopping activity among nearby businesses. He has also served two terms on the Board of Directors for the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce, one year on the Gig Harbor Economical Board, and was named their Business Person of the Year in 2001.
